Providence Bookstore & Coffee House - Your Hometown source for Bibles, Soundtracks, Novels, Gifts,

The Christian Bookstore has been a fixture in our community that dates back over 40 years. The current store has been in the same location for around 21 years. When word was spread that we would be closing, much sadness rippled throughout the greater Lawrenceburg area. Nobody could imagine that the birth place of Southern Gospel Music would be without a Christian Bookstore. It seemed all hope was lost and we would certainly close our doors for good.

Then in December a local based company began talks of how to save our store from closing. After much prayer they made the move and purchased The Christian Bookstore on December 12th 2012 at 12:00pm. Many prayers were answered that day, but our fight was not over. The current location could not accommodate the new vision our new owners had. So the search was on to find a new building. Our goal was to do everything we could to stay on the square, but it seemed that was not the case, then out of the blue it seemed, a building came up for sale right on the main part of the square, #1 Public Square. We quickly made a move and the rest as you would say is history.

We are so excited about our future here in our new facility! Our new location provides a better atmosphere for readers to come and relax and find a book or magazine to read. New additions to our facility are a full service bakery and coffee shop.

Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
